Lysolaje Reserve , a set on Flickr.

Much to our surprise the weather warmed up dramatically towards the end of this week. We went from being -15 to about 8. The sudden increase of 23 degrees meant the snow melted in 2 days. The funny thing is when the temperature hit about 3 degrees we all found ourselves peeling off our jackets because it was too hot! Acclimatisation is a crazy thing :+) Because the snow is gone we went for a walk in a nature reserve near our house this weekend. It is a pretty cool site that dates back 30,000 years to the Bronze Age. Over the centuries the reserve has been used for so many things including religious sites, theatre, living ... There is this sacred natural spring, shrine and moss/fungus everywhere. We will go back in the summer because there are about 200 cherry trees, bbq area and just a really nice place to visit.
