Le Mollard Noir, a set on Flickr.
Hiking was on the agenda today. We drove up a very winding road to the summit of the Mount Du Chat, about 1500m above our cottage. From here we walked along a ridge to Mollard Noir where we could see both sides of the valleys below and heaps of other mountains. A small plane flew towards us before turning and flying alongside the track. We waved and it was so cool because the plane tilted its wings up and down waving back, even Taylor thought this was awesome! Once again the little kids did really well with the walk about 2 ½ hours. Leo needed a little external motivation at the end (lollipop) to finish the walk. After this we drove down the other side of the mountain for a swim in a different lake before heading home, a much quicker drive as there is a tunnel right through the mountain.
