Luxembourg

For some reason I can't insert the photos into blogger any more.  Click on the link or the photo to see all pictures

Our final country/city for our Christmas holiday was Luxembourg.  This tiny country in nestled between Belgium, France and Germany.  We decided to take a slight detour on the way home because we have visited the 3 main cities in Paris, the capital of both Belgium & The Netherlands and don’t know if we will be back over this way!  The weather only just held off for us as we walked around the city with some lovely bridges, small cathedral and neat looking houses.  We didn’t do a tour and only stopped for a couple of hours.  We did learn that they still have a Royal family, that Luxembourg is only 2,586 square kilometres and has a population of about 524, 000 making it one of the smallest sovereign nations in Europe.
