Tandem Jump

When the opportunity came, I took it and I'm glad I did! Asked only hours before, if I wanted to complete a 4200m Tandem Jump. I text mum and Allan minutes before the jump; "Going skydiving, text you if I am alive". I didn't want to ask incase the answer was no, because I was going to do it anyway. I didn't feel nervous, more excited than anything.  Once it was time to actually jump out of the plane, I was all go. No nerves, no head rush. Just the need to get out of the plane. The thrill of skydiving was beyond any possible description. Falling at 120mph with the wind screaming past my body was an unbelievable experience of total freedom. The sport is not without an element of danger, yet it is this fear that makes it so addictive! I cannot wait until my next jump.
