Driving to Copenhagen is not the biggest drive we have done
but this one had a timeline, as we needed to catch the 5:45pm ferry from
Rostock, Germany to Gedser, Denmark. The
ferry ride is about 2 hours; we were lucky the thunder and lightning storm had
passed before we got on the boat. The
kids loved looking at the boats and we were all intrigued by the rows of wind
turbines in the ocean. Once on the
Denmark side we had another 2-hour drive to Copenhagen, a good trip and we
arrived safe and sound.
