Snow Fun

I have been a bit slack with the blogging, probably because we have not much since Christmas. The weather is colder now between about -4 to -14, the great thing is that it doesn't rain, so you can actually still be out and about. We visited the snow two weekends ago and played in the snow this weekend just gone. Most of the photos look pretty much the same, white with the kids in their jump suits enjoying the snow! We actually like the snow, it's great fun but I don't really like the dark. After Christmas when I was taking Corban to school she asked me "is it going to be bed time soon?" the sun doesn't come up until about 8am and is dark again by 4pm. Fortunately we have had the shortest day and it is now brighter, I am actually making it home from work in the light! This week Allan has started taking the kids to school on the sled rather than using the buggy, they like that. We brought a cheap car, a Chrysler Voyager (7 seats) so we can head off in the weekends. Sounds crazy but we have only used the car twice since we brought it! (because the public transport is so cheap and reliable). It is just our holiday car (ha ha completely different to NZ). Allan is getting a fair bit of work done on his teeth at the moment, a good portion is covered by our medical insurance however not everything ... by the next time you see him, he'll have a million dollar simle :+) So instead of exotic holidays at the moment Al is opening wide for the dentist!!
