Cassis, a set on Flickr.
Cassis is a small town with some exceptional hiking tracks. We packed for the day and hiked to two of the bays. It was not easy with parts of the track very rocky and steep. Leo has really gotten the hang of hiking looking for the painted markings to follow. It was also very obvious that he was proud of his “rock climbing” as he stopped every so often and asked for a photo! We went swimming in the little bay, the water was very clear and blue. After this Allan decided to walk further, while me and the kids went back as it was very hot and the next stop was another 1 ½ hours. Me and the kids enjoyed walking along a boardwalk at the bottom of a cliff and along one of the bays, watching massive fish swim around while Allan walked for a couple of hours not actually finding the bay he set out for (but he did see some great views). We’ll come back to Cassis over the next couple of weeks, it’s a great place.
