It
was an early morning start in Tallin, Estonia.
We rolled of the ship at 5.45am, slightly early for a sleepy little
medieval town. Finding a park we had a
picnic breakfast and a play before heading to the township.
It
was the first time we have been in an old town with no other tourist, the
streets were bare. We wondered around
the streets taking pictures and reading signs while we waited for everyone to
wake up. Shops and stalls began to open
between 9am-10am, by this time we felt like we had seen most of what Tallin had
to offer.
We
looked at a few market stalls and flower shops as there seemed to be so
many. There was also lots of amber
everywhere, amber jewelry, amber ornaments, amber magnets, little amber animals
… you name it and you could find it made from amber.
Hopping
back in the car we headed for Riga, the capital of Latvia.
